In terms of room sonic qualities, really depends on the effort and care demonstrators put in setting up their systems. I heard some really good rooms as well as some deficient setups.

I've seen some vids on social media from Munich that corroborate your findings re: the MBL, Magico, and Clarisys rooms. Nice to hear that you liked these others, including Constellation (which I'm now also using, FWIW). Looks like Florian and Soulution put a lot of effort into room treatments and acoustics for their room seeing the pics from Mike, our fearless leader.

Why are we not reading about how the equipment actually sounds? Do we just want "Hi-Fi Porn" photos?

This thread is really only helpful to those trophy hunters who need to know what kit has the most bling, or the highest price. Having said that, do we not think that several new speaker systems look positively ugly?

I want to know what sounds good and what may be considered as good value. Am I the only one who cares about sound, rather than looks.

Apologies in advance to those who just want to drool over ridiculoustly-priced audio equipment - but I suppose this thread is titled "Munich High End Photos!

Truthfully, if you want to know how it sounds, come to the show!

There are no universal truths. One man’s bright is another man’s dark, so take everything with a grain of salt.

I’m here to exhibit but more importantly to meet old friends, like Aviad from Israel who’s been through hell and back with the bombing occurring again and countless others from all around the world. I’m seeing smiles and getting hugs and handshakes. Nothing better than that! Covid sucked. It meant we couldn’t see each other for years. Too long!

I’ve made it to most rooms. I will comment later on the ones I enjoyed. There were many - if not most!

Very true, particularly with a show of that magnitude. The meeting up with friends aspects is a crticially important part as well.

All I want are photos with the "occasional" comment relating to how a given room sounded. The last thing I want is a Youtube video playing music with commentary. Those videos and opinions mean nothing to me.
