Munich Hi End 2023 Photos

Mike (aka Ritmo),

Thank you for posting so many nice photos from Munch High-End. You've gone "beyond the pale", my friend.

Any standouts for you? I've heard the acoustics in many of the rooms are not, um...the best.

Cheers and thanks again, buddy.

Of the relatively small floor-standing speakers I've heard, Piega stood out for its astonishing clarity from its co-axial top and mid ribbon drivers and 4 bass drivers. Having just before been listening to a similarly-sized (but considerably more costly) Magico, the Piega Coax 711 was a revelation. Both speakers featured aluminium enclosures. How did they sound to you?

> A new line of speakers from Avantgarde.

Avantgarde speakers have always been somewhat quirky in appearance, but that one with the ancient electric radiant heater (or is it a laundry mangle?) behind a horn takes them to a new level of daftness! I don't envy you trying to find customers to buy them! ;) I'll stick with their other offerings, but thanks for the photos.

I think it's so butch, it's cool.
