Yes the DACs have the tops cut away to showcase the insides, most likely done as demo pieces....

I got that. I was referring primarily to the shape of the holes on the top sides of what I believe is the Premier (better design IMO).

Thank you. It’s 8:35pm here. Had a busy day at the MOC and then a 3.5 hour walking tour on the rise of the Third Reich. Yes, not the most pleasant of subjects, but I’ve done most of the other tours.

World Premiers - SAT table and arm. Had a good long chat with the designer. Pictures don’t do it justice. He wouldn’t commit to a US price yet. Cart is the Ortofon Century. Some talk about tables, we go listen!

Speakers are the new Marten Mingus Orchestra (est. $200k USD).

THIS is why I come to Munich every year.

Would love to hear this system with some other electronics. The acoustic guitar on the Alison Krauss album is so damn dry. I know this album very well.
