very impressive system. could also work in rooms that have 5x the size of the munich space.

more important: to me this WE system a great statement against the mainnstream hifi industry with their digital, modish styled, loudness crappy sounding stuff that is branded and advertised in such a way that you wish to buy something new every next year.

-Kondo/Kaiser room, I am so partial as I have been working this room for three days now. I can say that it is been JAM packed every day all day and it's a big room. Kaiser brought THREE truckloads of woodworking (all white) and acoustical panels that you can see in the pics. MANY people comment that it's like "being in heaven". The sound is interesting to me and is so big and open, but that is due to the size of the room, which is VERY large. It's not an intimate sound, but there are "no issues" with the sound. I personally believe that this exhibition between Kondo and Kaiser will bring great things to both companies in the future. I observed that really most guests loved the sound, although with the room being SO large it could easily accommodate a much larger speaker. The Kondo electronics and Ginga TT were spot on and luxurious sounding, again with no issues although the final culmination of the Kondo/Kaiser extravaganza will be realized once Kaiser completes the upcoming statement system.

-Zellaton room, the Zellaton new 800 lb speaker system is mesmerizing to view. Like the BIGGEST Diamonds that I have ever seen. There will be so much written about this room and being a competitive product to what I represent I won't offer an opinion on the sound of the system. I know that installing a system of this size takes a lot more than a day to get set up and settled in properly although I think the sound would be a manner of personal taste.

-Living Voice/Kondo room, I really think you have to sit and listen to this system to experience the feeling and emotional connection with the music to appreciate what this system is capable of. It's also in the "mesmerizing" category from a visual perspective, but here the sound is again something that I think must be experienced to understand. Words would diminish the feeling that I had listening to this system....sorry.

-Raidho D4.1, I am SURE that Raidho aficionados LOVED the new D4.1, they are gorgeous to look at the their bigger brothers standing behind them as well. I only listened briefly and did not really get an impression of the sound vs. the thousand other times that I've listened to Raidho. I didn't hear anything wrong, but honestly it's like jumping in and out of Ferraris, Porsches, Lambos.....you name it, and after a while it's hard to get a handle on what you are hearing.

I NEVER judge speakers or electronics at a show, it's just to look at them and meet the people that represent and have made them. The sound is dependent on setting up these reference systems in one day in an "exhibition setting". I would say that I was impressed with almost any room that visited and thought most systems were very enjoyable. Although I have bouncing back and forth between the Vitus, Magico, Absolare, Thrax, Ubiq (Sheraton Hotel for Ubiq) and spending the majority of my time working in the Kondo Kaiser rooms as all of these rooms are lines that I represent.

Too biased with my opinions so take any comments here with a grain of salt....off to the show for day 3:audiophile:

Hi Bob, many thanks again for taking the time to provide such detailed feedback.....much appreciated. Seems like you are having lots of fun this year. I suspect the Kondo and Vitus amps could be a great match for Zellaton Statement if someone ever got to try them together. Just came back. Spent full 3 days there. What a show !

My personal fav was (by far) the Magico M-Project driven by Soulution gear. For the first time I've really like the soulution gear.

Adam, looking forward to your observations on the new soulution 511 stereo amp (in mono mode?) driving the M-Project speakers and what you heard differently this time compared previous auditions.
 
Soulution 511 will be ~$35k and is a stereo amp which is user switchable to monos.

Hi Bob, just saw your note....sorry you missed the Vertere room. They were at the Marriott and Anne Bisson launched her album in their room on Friday I believe. Michael Fremer actually did a great video on their turntables and room last year. Look forward to hearing some additional thoughts on the show from you. Thanks again for all the posts.
