Thanks for the inciteful and informative account Mike. Any chance of a comparison or two with similarly priced DACs? Perhaps even with an over achiever or two? which do not approach the exospheric layers? as with DCS and MSB

Of everything I have read about the new generation MSB DACs, this account gives me by far the clearest picture of what might be so special about their sonic performance, exemplified by the Reference DAC.
