Does anyone know if there are any plans for the MSB DAC or Renderer to allow streaming via Airplay ?
My Lumin D2 DAC/Renderer has this capability which is why I haven't sold it.

Many feel wireless isn't an ultimate sonic solution....I'll bet MSB is in this camp

Thank you for replying.
When I spoke to Jonathan in November about this, he said it was something that he wished for. I just wondered if there was any new info.
Personally, I would be using airplay only as a convenience. There are many times when I am in my listening room, ie living room, on my laptop, wishing I could feed sound through my stereo system instead of the laptop speaker or headphones. For instance when previewing tracks to purchase on music download sites.

I thought Airplay is a plug in wireless device/extender with a RJ45 connector option to get past in wall RJ45 connection?

Assuming so, than why wouldn’t this work?

Also believe the fundamentals of hard wire leads to a better connection.

i also use airPlay for similar convenience reasons.

airPlay is an apple protocol for streaming audio (and other media) over a LAN. so, it really depends upon the specific airPlay-enabled device as to what the I/O possibilities are... but, the salient point is that the device (the MSB renderer module in this case) must be airPlay-enabled.

also, for anyone using airPlay make sure the device firmware is running airPlay2 -- it is a significant up-tick in quality.
