MQA: That Sounds Good. To Me.

All i know is that when using Roon's Radio feature or when playing one of my Roon playlists more often than not when a song sounds really good I will check the display and it will be a MQA track.

If you like the sound of MQA, there is a chance that you may like "Smooth Minimum Phase" upsampling in Roon DSP Engine for non-MQA 44.1kHz PCM music. Alternatively, if not using Roon DSP Engine, you may try filter F6 with your dCS. Have you tried these?

Peter . I do not use DSP engine for upsampliing just the equalizer for a bit of boost in the 65hz range.

If I am reading it correctly I can only select filters 5 or 6 with material that is 176 or higher. Normally I float back and forth between DSD2 or DXD 384 for upsampling.

Thanks for any suggestions you may have. We all appreciate your participation on these forums.
