Reminds me of the Dolby process, it encodes the music (on cassette) and the hardware decodes the music, less the noise. Different name with MQA, same closed end to end process. Anyone use Dolby today?
My main concern is the two way communication required between the MQA source and the DAC. I don't see the world turning over just yet to make this happen, this would mean error correction, and correct timing, of which NO ONE HAS EVER implemented for USB or S/PDIF digital audio. I'm not going to trash my DAC by jumping on the rickety bandwagon, with the fourth wheel driven by spin.
Where is the response from the major labels and the super distributor Apple?
