That was a nasty snow/ice storm; in Montreal the snow won't be fully removed until January 2, 2014!
And power to some remote people won't be restored till sometimes around December 30th!

Some people are going to spend part of the Holiday Season at airports!

Hang in there Barry, some have it worst than you. In Toronto you're not alone, among 200,000 others (without electricity).
- My thoughts are with you right now.

Unfortunately yes Norman. ...With all that ice on the tree's branches, and the persistent cold they are not out of the woods yet.

* At home we suspend our wires above the floor (to improve sound quality from our audio rigs),
and in the cities and suburbs the wires should be buried under ground.

What a bummer. My time in Canada taught me that snow is NOTHING unless you have like 50 feet of it.... Ice is the real danger than cant be handled by any existing tech.

Today...It was a cold one with lot of sunshine and we have amazing view with all the Iced trees reflecting the sunshine....beautiful...
