More Naim x Magico

Should be a great pairing. @no32 did I read here that you currently have a Devialet? If so - you won't know what hit you when you hear those YG's with Naim.

I own very old Linn/ Naim system as well.

The Devialet I own sounds very good, but I agree and hope it’s marginally better... butch this price point I won’t make any changes before I listen at home

I wonder why will be the best Naim value for money around the 500DR

Is it a must to go for 500 all the way ?

Definitely not. I have the 300DR with 252 and posted many videos with the Magico A5’s

252/300DR is a really great system. Definitely. And the 300DR easily drove my A3's and I'm sure it's fine with A5's.

I wonder , have you listen to YG with Naim or Devialet?

I have not. I know one YG dealer pretty well and hope to hear them, but that requires a visit to his shop and has to await travel opening up, etc etc. I've listened to Devialet, and just don't enjoy the sound beyond the first 2 minutes. I find it super-revealing (my term; maybe not the right vocabulary) in a way that I find unpleasant for long-term listening.
