PIONEER PL-600 38th Anniversary Edition - Only one to be sold in Ruby Red Pink

Description

The Pioneer PL-600 features a full auto mechanism based on optical, no-contact detection principles so that force is not needlessly exerted on the tonearm.

The model also adopts a quartz PLL system with brushless DC Hall motor.

The system compares the waveforms of a high-precision reference oscillator employing a quartz crystal with the output waveforms of the frequency generator built into the rotor of the motor, and thereby controls the rotational speed of the motor.

The precision-finished centre shaft and bearings, and the platter with it's high inertial mass, prove to be a winning combination in the PL-600.

Be the only one to own this Limited Edition Pink...ummm.. We mean RED beauty. The buyer will also receive a bottle of Scotch (pictured below) to Celebrate the purchase.

Okay, I'll hold the cheque until then.

Send me a full name and address so I can tell the sled dog(singular) where to send it to...LOL

Can I just buy the bottle of scotch Rob? I already have a turntable, albeit not a 38th anniversary edition of the PL-600 :D

You're a better man than I, Rob. If it was me having all that trouble while attempting to get the paint right there would only be half a bottle left. :P

Hey, it was worth a shot. If Linn could dust off a 40 year and table and offer it with a bottle of Booze for $40,000, then why not my Pioneer for $25,000 ? At least mine is freshly painted and has a new tonearm belt....LOL

The sale is closed since Paul sent his check dated 2114. If it doesn't clear then, I will repost. :exciting:
