LOL! I guess most (if not all) the audiophiles really can’t tell the difference between an analog or digital recording.

LOL you are right! Before the truth about MOFI came out, golden-eared audiophiles (including reviewers like Fremer) were raving about the MOFI pressings. Now suddenly those same audiophiles claim to hear a clear difference. Nonsense. These are the same audiophiles that failed MOFI's blind tests!

Does anyone really take anything Fremer has to say seriously?

Absolutely. He noticed issues with MoFi pressings long before this controversy hit. He’s done a great service to our community over the long haul. Long before the current crop of YT wannabes bloviate about their comparatively limited experiences.
Guess you're uninformed about the email exchange between Fremer and Mike.![]()
Enlighten me.
I’m ok with that. I may not have all the facts in this case. I haven’t followed it that closely since it broke awhile ago.Nahhhh......you were soooo sure you had it all figured out and leapt to Fremer's defense and couldn't wait to give the response you did feeling all proud of yourself. We'll just let your post sit there for all to to see it.

I do support Michael Fremer and everything he’s done for our industry. I know he’s a divisive figure, and no one is correct 100% of the time. We’re all human, and we make mistakes. But no one else has done more to keep vinyl at the forefront of high fidelity music reproduction than Michael Fremer. His reviews and setup videos have helped me build a fine vinyl setup that I enjoy every day. His countless seminars on vinyl setup have helped hobbyists get the most out of their vinyl setups.
So yes, I take what Michael Fremer has to say seriously.
