Could this be possible? I was just curious when i got to reading about quadraphonic audio earlier. Of course if you could do it you would need to implement a quadraphonic precessor. It would have to be ran in front of the amp/reciever and the to the front/rear through the amp. (Processed by the receiver as surround sound but is actually quadraphonic because of the processor in front.) You could just use a quadraphonic stereo, but wheres the fun in that? ;)
Thoughts?

Also, this is just theoretical i dont actually plan on doing this. (Wrong thread maybe? [If so, sorry.])

Full range speakers all around, kill the center channel, get your quad recordings; why not.

Also, 4-channel stereo audio mode.

And, Dolby Pro-Logic Music audio mode (full range speakers and no center channel; disable it).

* Not truly mods, just some simple settings.

We tried this with my Dad's Pioneer Quadrophonic preamp. The results were not good. I used to love the quad R2R and the four speaker IMF setup. It was so cool sounding (for the 70's!)
