Hello everyone: Can anyone recommend speaker stands for some McIntosh ML 1's. Want get them a little higher then the 6 inch stands they're on now. I got them next to a pair of B&W CDMT 9 speakers. The ML 1's are powered with a MC7300 with the MQ 101. And the B&W's are running through a MAC6700 receiver. The MC7300 is tapped off the Mac receivers output 2. Chuck Hinton told me how to rig everything up. Just need a good and solid stand for the ML1's. Thanks for everyone's input in advance.

You might check out Sound Anchor. I am using a pair for my JL sub woofers.

Sound Anchor stands are built very well. Mine weigh about 40lb a piece. They are black power coated with spikes. As I recall, they were in the $400 dollar range each but were custom made. As you can see from the pictures they are very sturdy.

Thanks for the photos Mike. I was thinking about getting them. Would like to have mine about 10 to 12 inches high. I'm waiting at this time to get my McIntosh MVP 891 out of the shop. It quit reading dvds and cds. But it would play Bluerays and SACDs. I did buy a Oppo BDP-103D from Audio Advisor while I wait for the McIntosh. The Oppo is very good. Have a good day. When I woke this Morning it was 9 degrees. Stay warm my friend. Bruce
