Missing Album Art, MetaData? Try SongKong!

Besides artwork, I heard it finds tags for untagged music? Does it canonize tags (e.g. David Bowie, Bowie, David and Bowie end up tagged in te same category)? Does it reorganize folders or just tags? Rename files? Does it suppress duplicates? Does it handle non-canonic tags (e.g. conductor, composer, disc number, etc.? Can you set a format preference (e.g. if you have AIFF and MP3 versions of the same music, keep only AIFF)?

Those are some of the things my ideal library manager would do. Ideally it would also sync it between different discs and have a cloud backup.
Hi, this is the developer of SongKong, thankyou for the postive comments I know this is an old thread but I just came across it and wanted to give you an update.

The answers to the above questions are all yes, SongKong can use Acoustic fingerprinting to identifdy music without any tags, it does use standard artist name (from MusicBrainz) even when the name appears lightly differently on different releases, it can rename folders and files based on metadata, there is a Delete Duplicates function that can can work on combinations of AcoustIds/Textual Metadata/MusicBrainz Ids, you can specify format preference and can also only search for duplicates within a format type in case yo have multiple versions of your library encoded in different formats. It can auto-add over 100 fields including composers/conductors ecterta and has special support for Classical music.

Performance wise its now 4x faster then it was a couple of years ago, we also now also provide a full web control ui and support QNAP NAS, Synology NAS and Melco N1 server.
Manual Edit via web browser is has been added and this comes free without a license.

Please give it a whirl and tell us what you think.
