ive been obsessing over a turntable i never heard. a dealer about 2 hours north of me wanted e come hear this table. so i searched another forum for it and turns out A/V Solutions is a dealer for this table. guess i should have just figured that jeff had one. lol. he had good things to say about it. anyway on my way up to pick up my preamp i stopped at this dealer and sat and had a listen finally. this was setup with a ortofon cadenza black and the ortofon ta 110 arm.
holy crap!! now im really obsessing over this table. and as luck would have it, i recently entered into a deal on a cadenza black that i will payoff in the next week or so.
my other option is to upgrade my classic 1 to a 3. but having heard the 3 several times i think this is the way i would choose to go.
shes an ugly girl, especially with that big ball on top.lol. :D

Thats a beautiful 'table. George Merrill's store is 90 miles west of me and he's a pleasure to visit. He's a analog guru for sure.

I read a little history on him . He's been at this for a long time.
I love his outlook on vibration control

Steve...he's a interesting guy to talk to. For 20+ years he owned a wonderful high end shop on Central Ave. in Memphis and like many sold out. A world of analog information from George.

Ok if you read the first post in this thread . Or my sig. lol .This has been a small dream of mine for awhile. There is also a review link in the first post , and joe put up some great info as well.
Well as it turns out I will have one in about 2 weeks(give or take)the table is pretty much all rubber, making it unnecessary to isolate it any further than sitting on top of my rack.
I got it with the Ortofon ta 110 arm which is filled with rubber.which is rigid enough to handle any cartridges out there. It has a removable headshell and the head shell options are numerous. There's the original, also a sweet wood one, carbon fiber, and a rubber filled one too (LH 10000)so several cartridges are easy to run
I'm getting the Ortofon cadenza black cartridge to start. not only was I told its the perfect cartridge for this setup, but my cadenza blue was a gem and rivaled cartridges that were alot more $$$.
I will quickly buy the cadenza mono cartridge as well. But that's assuming my mono record shopping goes well. Lol
And I'd like to add an spu, since I now have an arm that can handle that.
And of course I see a LP-S in my near future as that is also a dream of mine. And now possible with its very heavy stature.
Once it is here I will of course put up my own review!!!
