I think we’re living in the golden age of integrated amps. There is a multitude of high quality offerings from nearly all major manufacturers. I was a separates guy for close to 40 years. Four years ago when I turned 60, I began to reassess priorities and auditioned some integrated amps. My hearing and my back aren’t what they used to be and so I discovered that a well-built integrated amp can sound every bit as good (to me) as separates that cost (and weigh) a lot more. I like the simplicity and don’t feel like I’m losing anything in terms of sound quality and enjoyment.

it’s great that Mike has such a variety of integrated amps to choose from. Something for every taste and budget.

You just know that at night, when it's just the electronics hangin out, that Diablo 300 is talking some smack about how the PA 3100 gets to be in the big boys room.

What a great breadth of offerings, Mike.

That T+A is the most handsome of the bunch IMO (but they seem fairly proud in their pricing).

Personally, I think integrated manufacturers are better off offering DAC-less products. Why include something that is evolving and prone to change?

Once you've picked up Esoteric and have the K-03-XD, I'll need to come visit and audition Diablo, 3100, 700i, 866 with 802D3 and S3 Mk IIs.

I think PASS needs to make sure you have a 250 on site. How can someone listen to the 60 against the Diablo 300 or 3100 and think they've made a legitimate comparison? So unfair.

Hehe... you know darn well the T+A is saying, "you wish, I earned the spot, jealous much?" :D....

The choices Mike has is pretty amazing...

I think we are in a golden age of integrated amps. So, choices, price and performance can make a decision hard for consumers. Which is a good thing. I went with the Gryphon Diablo 300 with Dac and for me I can enjoy the one box approach with no regrets or feeling of wanting more. Sometimes it time to just listen and enjoy. I feel I’m there.

wow, what a line up!! love it ...and the pic of the R2R, msb and t+a is making me drool.

one question though, where are the tube integrateds? it's like there are all the flavors of baskin robins except vanilla. hopefully, there is another room reserved just for them.

;)

We have two tube integrated amps. I’ll send pics today.

ty!! ...extra points for point-to-point, hand-wired SETs

:)

seriously thought, beautiful line-up of integrateds... one could literally close their eyes, pick one from that collection and have a total winner.

I think these are sollista and solliistino.
Is there a big difference in sq between the 2 brothers?

We’ve had both, and today have the Classico 300b and Solista. The 300b has Classic gorgeous mids, but the Solista has a massive soundstage, dynamics and bass. But find efficient speakers for either!
