Think the Pre is more interesting than the amp. My guess is the pre is a re boxed c22 and the amp is just two 275's in one chassis.

Further details on both pieces available here, including pricing:

"Now the bad news, the MC2152 70th Anniversary Vacuum Tube Amplifier and the C70 70th Anniversary Vacuum Tube Preamplifier aren't free. As a limited edition commemorative system the price is $22,000. This system can be ordered today at any authorized McIntosh dealer. Once these systems are gone, again only 70 of them will be made, each component can be purchased separately. The MC2152 70th Anniversary Vacuum Tube Amplifier is $15,000 USD and the C70 70th Anniversary Vacuum Tube Preamplifier is $7,000 USD."

The McIntosh email I received today said this:

As you can imagine, all 70 Commemorative Systems sold out virtually overnight. But worry not, the non-Commemorative System versions of the MC2152 70th Anniversary Vacuum Tube Amplifier and the C70 70th Anniversary Vacuum Tube Preamplifier are now available to order separately. Each will still have 70th Anniversary markings on them just like those in the Commemorative Systems, but unlike the units in the Commemorative Systems, they will not have matching serial numbers nor special Commemorative System "1 of 70" markings on them.

My neighbor who owns Pacific Coast Audio Video here in Corona del Mar, CA. has one of these sets. I know he's motivated to sell it. If anyone's interested he's at 949-640-5093, his name is Tim
