I am Amazon Prime. OMG - I totally love this!

Dream come true for me. Amazon customer service is the best! Amazon is THE very first place I check fir everything.

I have purchased both AudioQuest and WW there. I do check with the manufacture to verify authorized seller first. I even purchased my Astell & Kern there from an approved seller.

Another good point is the Amazon is very customer centric. They worship the customer. Got an issue, they handle it with an iron fist. Couple of times I purchased something and simply contacted them. Almost instant fix. LOVE AMAZON. Looks like good McIntosh customer service is on its way :)

Prime and usually no tax! A win

I fully support this! Happy Dance.

I love the ease of purchase and Amazon Prime but the prices seem even higher than retail on some items, yuk.

Looks like that C2500 is used and higher than retail. I think.

Could be an error. The speakers, for example, are dead on price wise. The cables, are also dead on. I have the McIntosh price sheet that lists each and every item they sell. The C2500 is incorrect.

If it is being sold used, that isn't an MSRP, that's a price set by the retailer. Not McIntosh necessarily, yes?

I got my brand new C2500 for $5.5k OTD from best buy magnolia. 36 months same as cash bestbuy credit. Some things you just can't do it on Amazon.

Suite! And congrats! Agree. No single single venue is a total solution. Just maybe better incentives will open up. I thrive on healthy competition.

Right now, so far observed. these venues are not listing the too end gear and maybe this will change - though BestBuy/Magnolia does offer all.

to support your argument, when I purchased One of my pair of MC2301s at BestBuy/Magnolia - I had originally purchased a pair of MC275s from BestBuy/Magnolia. and while I was at that store I talked about getting my very first pair of MC 2301 at this point the MC275s for maybe a year. The management agreed to let me trade-in at full value including tax my MC275s toward a pair of MC2301s. I did! I do not imagine an online venue offering this sort of service.

Now I own Three Pair of MC2301s.

I also have supportive and fond regards for BestBuy/Magnolia.

If it weren't for bestbuy magnolia, I'd probably still be stuck with the denon and paradigm gear that I bought years ago from a boutique dealer.

BB magnolia has open possibilities for me and many others to own stuff we could only dream off.....thanks to McIntosh and B&W for not snubbing them out.

And the beauty of magnolia A/V is, since BB owns them, they could afford to give you 10-20% discounts without hurting their bottom line. You just have to ask for it!! Other dealers won't even bother talking about discounts. They always hide behind the fact that " oh (fill in manufacturers name) will not discount their products. We'll get In trouble if we do and risk losing our contract bla bla blahhhhhh...."

Stanly...great post. I would not have explored any high end audio let alone McIntosh without BestBuy/Magnolia. I am so there right with ya! You should be the poster child for McIntosh - you prove that their approach is working.
