what is your opinion about the MBL 111f?
Vitus monoblocks can drive them?
the Vitus are 100W class A

thanks

I'm a BIG fan of MBL in the right room (!!). I don't think the 100w of the Vitus can drive them efficiently. At 80db (and confirmed by John Atkinson's measurements), you would be wanting a lot more power IMO.

The 111F's are wonderful speakers. IMO nothing in their price point could touch the sound of these units.

I will say they require amps that can deliver plenty of power and I don't just mean watts. I was using McIntosh 1.2k's but when I brought home some 300 wpc D'Agostino Momentum's the improvement was significant.

For that scenario, there is this bad boy. According to the official specs, the MP-S201 conservatively outputs 50 watts Kl.A and 1400 watts Kl.A/B @4ohms ;)..
