I sold a amp. The buyer complained the amp was outputting very different voltage from the speakers jacks. I said no way. I had tested that myself. He is pushing for something. I don't know what. He sent it to the manufacturer and they said it was in fantastic condition and working fine.
You don't know what a buyer is doing at home. I hear NOISE. Yea, all right. Why do you have noise. Maybe you have bad power. Maybe you have mismatched gear and ground loops. Maybe you have high EMF.
I sold another guy a electrical panel. I went to his house a couple times. I answered at least 100 email, 20 phone calls and so on getting the job done right. He complained my power was off as he heard radio through his phone setup. I went to his house with a power analyzer, and 2 phono preamps. The 2 pre I had were dead quiet. I also inserted a isolation transformer that I said would do nothing as his phono pre was picking up EMF. And it did nothing. Accept his system did sound better with it. But the radio noise was still there.
He then says he's not paying me for my time as I could not fix his issue. It should be warranty. Then he goes around town telling people I don't know what I an doing. A couple months later he writes and says his noise issues are gone as he bought a different phono preamp. What a TOOL.
