Magico S5 Review

Looks like Magico had to forgo some of those ultra expensive foil inductors they use in the V & Q series XOs for the S5, but still got good measurements.

That image is misleading. S5 crossover uses one of the best and most expensive components in its class. All capacitors, inductors and even resistors are made by Mundorf.

The solid core wiring is also from Mundorf, and so are the speaker binding posts.

Very cool pics. Mine arrive on Monday! :woot:

Wow, congrats ! Now you need to leave them playing 24/7 to speed up the burn-in process. I recommend the sound of ocean waves for that (doesn't bother you during the night). I reckon they need ~500h hours. Before that, the SQ will change like a rollercoaster.
