Mk1's are great speakers. No slouch. But the mk2's are indeed an evolution.

They are. Mine are 0002. 0001 stays at the factory I believe.

Did they start to give the # to pairs, instead of individual speakers ? All the Magicos speaker that I owned (and I had alredy 3 pairs: S5 > S5 mk 2 > M3) had individual, consecutive serial # 111/112, 385/386 etc.

I'm not sure but I think there is also Anodized Black option for S series. Do you know how it looks compared to just m-cast black?

It has more gray in it. I like it.

But man, those M Coat's....and Magico will make your speakers in ANY color (just need the car color code) for an up-charge (~20% over M coat depending on Pantone color and vendor)
