Magico Q3 with McIntosh MA6700

I am interested in opinions regarding how well Magico Q3 speakers would pair with a McIntosh MA6700 integrated amplifier. The amp is solid state and provides 200 WPC.

I already have the amp and really want to buy the speakers. If necessary, I'll buy a new amp (or set of separates); however, it sure would be nice if my existing amp paired well with the speakers.

I do, of course, plan on actually listening to the speakers/amp together before making the purchase.

Thoughts?

I can not answer your question directly but I have TAD CR-1's and I am really enjoying my MC601/C500T combo on them. I think high resolution speakers can benefit from a warmer amp/preamp combo if your taste leans in that direction. I love this combo.

I ran my Magico S5's with the MA6700 integrated (before I sold it and moved to the 601's) and it worked like a charm. Sounded great in fact.
