I've owned the Magico A3 for four months now and enjoy them everyday. I have been considering adding the Magico Apods or GAIA II devices under the speakers. I'm just wondering if any owners or sellers (Mike) have used the Apods with the A3's? The GAIA II are half the price of the Apods but that may not be my determining factor. It's more about reliable results and experiences. A3 owners are growing as production and time gets them into homes. Any owners use either?

A1’s? Do you mean A3’s?

Back to A3 talk . . . I'm still positioned not to get mine until May. They were ordered mid-December and at the time I was told May. That backlog seems to be holding true.

I wish their web site had a status update area for customers. At least one would get a feeling of hope. Bart001 did you order the Apods also? What equipment will you be using with the A3's?

I did order the Apods; figured I should just order it all at once and that I'd very likely like them vs. spikes.

They'll be used with my Naim system. Naim 252 pre, 300DR power amp. Naim streamer player and Rega turntable. I auditioned them (a pretty run-in pair) for a few days at home with my system, which I'm so glad I could do!

Looks like a great system. I'm very curious about the Apods of course.

I also think the A3's benifit greatly with subs in the mix.

In our room, when I demoed the A3's at home, it was actually a small challenge to avoid "too much" bass. Compared to my current Devore Nines speakers, which I've used off and on with a nice sub, they produce a ton more deep bass and I cannot imagine wanting more in this room. YMMV
