Anyone heard one/own one? I'm in the process of downsizing my system and at the same time going fully balanced. Thanks in advance for any help/thoughts.

Nobody in the world has heard this thing! I started this on Audiogon as well and no replies. If I bought one of these it would certainly be the "esoteric" purchase of a lifetime.

Actually I had one for a couple of weeks when it was first introduced. Great player, amazing build quality. I quickly thought best yet of my purchase and returned it for an Esoteric. But... I actually thought of buying it a second time. It's really super nice - if you only play redbook. This is not a SACD player. For the money, you may wish to consider an Oppo 105D either with or without the Modwright update. I think it is balanced...

Thanks so much for the info--really appreciated. My closest dealer for the thing is 300 miles away. I'll just plan a trip.

That's a long drive just to check it out. If you only really listen to redbook and want a slim, super high level build quality player don't hesitate. Really a work of art!

Hello,

I have the Lyngdorf CD-2 player. Bought it in April 2016. It has an incredible clean and crisp sound and is terrific value for money. I can highly recommend it. I have had the Hegel CDP4A mkII CD-player and Marantz SA-11S3 SACD-player prior to the Lyngdorf - the Lyngdorf CD-2 is far better in sound quality. :coolyeah:
