With just a few hours of burn-in, this unit is easy to love. It sounds as beautiful as it looks, and is truly a Beauty/Beast kind of electronics. I would highly recommend that Wilson dealers use this Luxman for their demos of the Sabrinas. In reading about the 509X, they say some circuits from their most expensive electronics are used. I totally believe that. The faceplate, knobs, top panel and meters are impeccably finished. I justwanted to change for the sake of change, but I did not expect to move up several levels.

Wow! What a beautiful setup HK. Luxman rocks!

What are the black power items on the server and dac?

Hi Joe,
Those are AC Infinity component cooling fans. They are thermostatically controlled with fan speed settings, etc. Except for the slight sound of air movement, they are quiet and, unless the room is dead quiet, you will not hear them. I think they are sold on Amazon for $99. There are 3 fans in each unit and they look really "cool" on top of any unit. The PS Audio unit runs very warm and these fans work quite well.

Congrats and love that Luxman retro look ....

HK, glad to hear you are enjoying your new Luxman! The den system looks quite a bit different since I was there last...[emoji16] It’s hard to avoid the upgrade bug.

Hi Sean,
Yes, the upgrade bug (otherwise know as Mike-E-Itis) is rampant. The only know antidote is money BUT that medicine is now in short supply. I did have the Flu shot, but that doesn't seem to help. Next time you are coming to Naples, let me know.

Wow! That looks really great HK ..... looking forward to listening to that beautiful amp soon.

Now that's a nice looking amp. Congrats!

I'm just waiting for something to happen so I can pull the trigger on one.
