I really love the Luxman stuff, really good looking and solidly built and with useful features too. I had many happy hours with the 550AII on a number of speakers and ran a gorgeous 509u when I owned my Vivid V1.5s. Just thinking about it has made me miss that 509u now

Spinning now. It certainly has decent gain and is quiet enough, I would suggest a MC or .3mv or higher, but it’s working fine with my .24mv cart.
It’s certainly no match for my REF10 Phono or my previous Vitus Masterpiece, but it’s very good. I could see a VPI Prime/Prime Signature with an Ortofon Cadenza Black being a superb match.

So guys... what about the Luxman L-590AX Mark II? Any other opinions? What did you hear it against? ​
