Mike...Calloway here..i went to the Lumin app on my iPad tonight to log into Tidal and when hit the Tidal icon i got a box that stated something like 'do you want your music sent through the cloud'..yes /no..i had never seen that before so i hit 'no'..i then started creating a playlist from the albums i had already loaded through Roon ...via Tidal...and when i hit play the first track played but the Tidal screen clicked off and went back to my start-up iPad page..i then hit the Lumin app again to restore the app and hit the Tidal icon again and it immediately kicked me out again..back to the beginning iPad screen ..and continued to not let me into Tidal via the Lumin app...i have tried everything i can think of as to why it is doing that ..my guess is it has something to do with my 'no' answer to the initial prompt of yes/no to the iCloud question...any thoughts on what to do to rectify the problem..?..thanks..dave
Chris..i just got up and tried the Lumin app again and i still cannot access Tidal through the app.it keeps kicking me out.I am running the 7.03 firmware. When you stated that you 'don't have Roon running' did you mean that it won't work now or you don't have it turned on..?.Dave

I found that on my iPhone (I have no iPad) after the 6.0.2 update that clicking the Tidal icon in the Lumin app would do the same, start then stop and kick you out. Restarting the Lumin app worked at first, then not. I then rebooted the phone and it worked again for a couple days. Last night it did the same thing so another reboot fixed it for now.
Try restarting your iPad (shut down and power up) and report back.
I think the 6.0.2 update is a little buggy with Tidal for some reason?
Chris..interesting..i rebooted the iPad..which i had done before...and the 'iCloud' question box appeared again..only this time i choose 'yes' and it now works....at least for now..fine..strange..I agree..why the question at all...????
Mike..if you could talk with Lumin i would appreciate it. i still cannot access Tidal through the Lumin app..it kicks me out every time i push the Tidal icon....i am able to access my folder music files but the Tidal music is not accessible..Dave
