Hello, 2 weeks ago I have the Lumin X1, since I entered my house I have connected it (without turning it off) Every 3 days I delete the played list and change the list, always changing the genres, jazz, blues, rock, flac files, DSD, MQA etc. etc. When I delete the playlist and want to re-enter my external disk to add other files I no longer see the "Music" folder on my disk, that is, the X1 does not recognize the external disk, I have to turn off completely and turn on the X1 again To normalize its operation, this happened with the A1 as well. It catches my attention in the part where I choose the USB says offline, does anyone know why this happens or how to fix it? Thank you. Greetings.

It obviously doesn't like "hot swapping" on that USB input. That is getting more common. My Auralic G1 warns in the manual not to do it on either the USB input or output. The previous generation didn't care.

I always turn my X1 off when I take the disk to my computer to add new music. For whatever reason, leaving the X1 on then unplugging and plugging the drive back in after adding songs doesn’t work. At least it didn’t when I first got it. Not sure if it still has this problem since I am used to turning off the X1 power when I remove the drive.

Friends excuse me, do not explain well, I never unplug the external disk when the X1 is on, I will try to explain the problem better. When I listen to Tidal's music and then add DSD or flac files from the external disc, I will add other Tidal albums again and then delete the list that was already played (the left part of the photo) after deleting the playlist no longer recognizes the external disk, I cannot enter the dicsco until it turns off completely and turn on the x1 again.

Hello friends, I will try again, explain my problem that is quite annoying. I turn on the X1 (there is no type of music selected) I enter my external disk, I choose DSD files and flacy I listen to music, then I add other albums of Tidal, I keep listening to the music, I turn off the X1, the next day I delete the playlist that I heard previously (playlist I mean what is shown in the last photo on the left) I want to go back to my external disk to choose other music folders, that's where I can no longer find the external disk. Thank you.

I suffer the same with my A1 each time that I delete the List of last listen album/song -the List at the left side of the App- the external USB disk -plugged to my A1- seems to disappear.

It' s really difficult to bring him to life again.. Switching on and off the A1.. s

Sometimes plugging and unplugging the disk..etc..etc.

While my comment does not address the issues you are having, I have found the Lumin L1 to be an exceptional music storage for the Lumin players. It super quiet, easy to use and very reliable. No issues with music/library recognition.

Yes, it is a little pricey but it is easy of use, excellent sound quality and its reliability are exceptional.

Thanks Mike. I like the idea, but it is not possible for me to buy the L1 right now.

Please use the free MinimServer. Some USB storage devices do not work stably enough on Linux or require too much power.
