LUMIN - TIDAL support

I've just upgraded both the server and the app. The whole process took 20 minutes - super easy. Got to love how easy Lumin makes this stuff happen.

I will try the server with the new software later today. I'm usually not an early implementer - prefer ".1+" releases of software. Keep you guys posted with my experience.
 
Tidal integration on the Lumin is AMAZING!!!!

Make sure you are running the Lumin 4.0 iPad app.

To add the entire album, hold your finger down on the album artwork and a box will pop up with the normal options to play now, next or add to the bottom of your playlist.

Love how it integrates with your existing music collection for building playlists.

Bravo Lumin team!!!!

Two hours listening , Tidal . It has not even once interrupted . Prior to Tidal + Air Play is continuously interrupted .

I can not really give an answer that is reliable . Was interrupted , both the music , I left my free trial period quickly.
 
I just, to make a comparison between the same version on my NAS and TIDAL, the first movement of Mahler's Fifth Symphony, conducted by Sir John Barbirolli. I can say that the sound is entirely satisfactory. Certainly, I prefer the version of my NAS, but we must recognize that from my NAS and the switch, there is a AudioQuest Diamond, and between Switch and Router one Cat7 generic.
 
For the happy (:)) few on his forum using a Linn streamer: the Lumin Tidal support works flawlessly with Linn too. No settings needed.

I have 4.0.1 now but don't notice any differences. Is their somewhere online where there's a list of fixes and changes for each iteration?

EDIT: I found it on the Lumin app page on iTunes.

A playlist for TIDAL has been added, as well as the usual bug fixes.
 
Has anyone tried to access Tidal today via their Lumin and was unsuccessful? Haven't been able to get it working all day. Tidal works fine on the laptop.

I have an Auralic Aries and am using the Lumin app as I like the looks and features over the DS Lightning app. With the DS Lightning app I have full access to Tidal, but I don't see it when using the Lumin app.

Any ideas?
Less than replacing the Auralic with a Lumin?

Works for me. Try to power cycle the Lumin.

I think it was concluded on another forum that Auralic does not implement the Tidal part of OpenHome standard. You can try to ask Auralic to implement this:
