Hi,

What is the best way to send audio from the Lumin T3 to a Nakamichi DRAGON 11.4.6?

The Nakamichi DRAGON 11.4.6 has

HDMI IN - HDMI 2.1 input*
Opt In - Optical audio Input
Aux In - 3.5mm stereo analog audio input (rather not use this)

Nakamichi DRAGON 11.4.6 | Quad Subs | Omni-Motion Surrounds
Manual - https://www.support.nakamichi-usa.com/_files/ugd/757848_e8b07fc0927c4ccaac33fa3cad75c062.pdf

*All the HDMI inputs and output support 4K120, 8K60, Dolby Vision,
4K HDR Passthrough, HDCP 2.3, VRR, ALLM, QFT

Thanks in advance!

HDMI isn't possible on the T3
Optical isn't possible on the T3
Aux is the only option with a Phono to 3.5mm mini-jack cable

(edited after realising that T3 doesn't have optical out either)

This looks like a home theater sound bar. T3 does not provide optical output or HDMI output.

Thanks for your responses. The product you linked would work Phil but I will need to go analog which I was hoping to avoid. Maybe the only best option available.

Thank you!

While for 2-channel would not be best sonically vs. a straight analog connection (assuming the T3 also connects to a 2-channel system), one could also get an RCA 2-channel A/B switch e.g. Amazon.com There may be high quality ones.

Shortest route is going from T3 analog unbalanced (RCA) to Nakamichi device analog in (3.5mm jack) with note the quality imo depends on the Nakamichi output chain (assuming T3 is top level analog quality, and assuming Nakamichi is unknown quality). If you'd go A>D after the T3 then to Nakamichi you'll end up with the same Nakamichi, so that will bring only extra cost for a converter with quickly looking no extra quality.

Conversion cable e.g. Amazon.com

Thank you checking on me. Unfortunately, I've decided to send back the Nakamichi DRAGON 11.4.6. Although it's an impressive system, it didn't quite meet my expectations.

The quad 8" subwoofers delivered room shattering outstanding bass, but I found the mid and high ranges to be unsatisfactory for my preferences.
