I did the latest firmware and now my display keeps switching songs on its own and if I press play it doesn't play it will just keep scrolling thru the songs .if I go on the app and switch out put to analog it will stop please help

This typically happens when you have a playlist loaded but the Lumin has lost access to the source of the music. For instance if the songs are loaded from a NAS or the L1, and the Lumin can't find those sources, you'll see the behavior you describe. If that's the case you need to troubleshoot network connections for all devices, which I'll guess Lumin will tell you to start by powering them all off then on one at a time (in what order, I can't say).

I got it to stop I just shut off the repeat settings but it still won't play over usb if I switch to anything else it works
 
As soon an I try and hit play or choose a different song it does nothing switch outputs and it works fine
 
You might as well just shut down and re-boot everything back to and including the router and get it over with. That includes the control device too.
 
So I went to use it today and it's still doing it I press play and it does nothing switch to another input other than usb it works I have reset modem several time no change please help
 
What media are you trying play? Local files? Streaming from a service? What devices/cables are connected to the Lumin?
Did you try disconnecting everything (including in the settings of the Lumin app), checking for any updates on your devices, or using other outputs?
 
I am trying to play tidal or qubuz its connected to an aesthetix pandora eclipse dac with USB cable then to an audio research reference se pre amp the t2 is connected to the internet bye eathernet cable from my modem
 
Please disconnect the USB cable. Power cycle both the Lumin and especially the DAC. After both are powered up, switch the DAC to USB input, then reconnect the USB cable.
 
Please get a 1.5m BNC to RCA coaxial cable and use the T2 BNC output to Pandora DAC.
 
The thing that is weird to me is when I power cycle everything the circle will start and start to count then it just stops
 
Since you're narrowing down what does and doesn't work, have you tried a different usb cable and had the same result?
