Tidal Autoplay is a similar feature to Spotify Autoplay and Roon Radio.

Lumin introduces support for Tidal Connect Autoplay for Lumin Tidal Connect models (X1 T3 T2 D3 U-series P-series) in latest firmware 17.3, to be gradually rolled out to different Lumin Tidal Connect models. This is a relatively new feature for Tidal Connect (even though it existed in Tidal app for phone playback for a long time, it was not usable for Tidal Connect streamers until now).

To the best of my knowledge few other streamers support it right now, so Lumin is one of the first manufacturers to support it.

Hi Peter,
With U2 Mini with 17.3 firmware I didn't notice Tidal Connect Autoplay support (in Tidal options autoplay is on). :-(

Please update your Tidal app to the latest.

You must use iOS or Android Tidal app, not desktop versions.

Turn off repeat. Play an album from Tidal app (Tidal Connect to U2 Mini). Jump to the last track in queue. Let it play to the end.

THnX. Is there any chance for Autoplay support for desktop app?

This is fantastic news; thanks for sharing, Peter. Any chance the folks at Qobuz follow in these footsteps?

Qobuz has been teasing this for quite awhile. It looks like it's finally going to happen according to a moderator/staff on the Club Qobuz forum:
(Go to the "News Feed" section and see the post and video about the beta version of Qobuz connect.)

That is so great to hear. Thank you for sharing. I have been playing around with the idea of buying Roon just for Roon Radio to find new music.

To find new music, try Spotify. Create a free account (usable on Lumin but not other streamers with a non-authentic implementation of Spotify Connect).

If you do want to try Roon, let me know and I'll give you a Roon 60-day free trial code.
