The unit has been left powered on for a few months no issue at all. 2 weeks ago, it switched off by itself. I switched it on again & all was ok. Last weekend, it switched off again. This time, when I tried to switch it back on, it went through the start up sequence but did not manage to switch on. Stated with Logo on, blank screen, Logo on, then momentary showing the circular ring on left side of the screen but only for an instant then blank screen again. Attached streamer also does not show up in the network. LUMIN app indicated that the L2 was offline as well & cannot get it online. Basically the unit could not switch on completely. Started the sequence but cannot complete it but instead shutdown. Tried this several times.

Anyone have this experience ? Please tell me this is not the norm and is a one off defective unit ?

I am in contact with my dealer and he will check with factory. Meanwhile, I seek some advice some fellow enthusiasts. Thanks.

Sorry to hear that, MDF. It really bites when you have a nice unit and something goes astray. Hopefully you have another source you can use until this gets resolved for ya'.

Sometimes.....just sometimes.....this works. Individual chips get hung up on a high or low and it creates havoc within a circuit. You can try this, it won't hurt anything. Power the unit down and leave it plugged in for about a minute. Then, unplug the unit and let it sit for about 30 seconds. Now go back to the IEC connection and short out all 3 pins (hot, neutral and ground). You can do two at a time, if you wish. Just make sure to short them all. Do this once or twice and then try powering it back up.

If there are music files that you don't have another copy of, you may try connecting the L2 via USB to a computer to back them up.

If necessary, take out the drives and use a computer to delete the partition(s) inside.

Please format the hard drives from scratch:
