So tonight I had my first issue with the Lumin U1 after many months of trouble free use.

Upon my return to my music room I notice that the song tracks are stuttering, no matter what song I change it to.

No problem I say to myself I'll just re-boot the Lumin. Uh-oh. Same problem. Now what.

I'm in the middle of a "panic text" to Mike and then I seem to remember Mike telling me during my orientation with the U1 to re-scan the library once every few weeks. Something that I've never done.

So I push the gear icon in the app, go under options on MinimServer and do a re-scan.

10 minutes later problem solved.

I'm 58 years old and not exactly tech-savvy, but this fix seem to do the trick.

The fact that rebooting Lumin does not solve the stuttering but rescan does, implies that MinimServer was not behaving correctly, because MinimServer Rescan "Rescans the library and restarts the stopped or running media server".

Even though I have not seen a similar symptom of MinimServer stuttering in Lumin office, different setups can be very different - different MinimServer version, different brand and model of NAS, different NAS OS version and patches, and different usage (how frequent music is added or manually restarted, etc.)
