Lumin D2 balanced out

I had a mini running into a Bryston Dac prior. I’m looking at a D2 and a Sugden ia-4 intergrated. I have Roon running on my iMac as before, this set up would work using the balanced out into a older amp? If I’m understanding right the D2 has a built in dac

If the Sugden has an XLR input it will work fine and yes the D2 has a Wolfson DAC chip inside so nothing additional needed.

It will work, but you may run into a too much gain problem with this amp. You'll probably need to use the RCA output, and further decrease the D2 volume to compensate for the amp.

Thanks Peter, just looking for now but seriously thinking about it. This is kind of a bummer about the gain.
