Lumin D1 MinimServer & burn in time questions

How does the lumin software read the files? It seems like it does not completely read how it's tagged.

When you use a NAS, Lumin players do not read the metadata of the files directly. The UPnP server running on your NAS read those metadata from the music files, then create a XML description of the file to be obtained by the app and the player.

If you still experience those issues after using MinimServer, then the tags of the music files need to be examined.

Loaded up minimserver onto my laptop pointed it to my NAS mapped as a z drive and it now sees files properly and number order properly, I don't want to have the laptop out every time I run the D1. Actually getting the d1 was supposed to replace the laptop. So I guess I am going need to purchase different nas to get rid of the laptop in the chain.

On another note, I had a bluesound node 2 on loan. Their app saw everything without needing an additional app running. Sound quality the Lumin is much better and the Node2.
