Is there any way to play random albums in the app? I have a large library and it's fun sometimes to just play a random album.

This feature is not possible with Lumin app.

However, you may use Audirvana or Roon on a computer with no less than 16GB RAM to achieve this. If you would like an Audirvana trial code or Roon trial code, let me know.

Hi Peter,

I think to notice after the 10.15 update of player app IOS of 21Jan25 that the volume setting has an increased delay.

Some background on how this was found:
Open the app, hit play button, immediately go to volume bar, and move it to the desired volume.
Result 1: Volume does not go to the set value of the volume slider (not desired at all)
Result 2: if you quickly move up down the volume slider the player does not immediately respond (anymore)
Result 3: All works but assumed 0.5 to 1 second delay in response when Leedh Processing. Estimated 0.2-0.5 second delay without Leedh processing

There is always a minor lag due to WiFi. If it deteriorates, please reboot your WiFi network infrastructure, Lumin, and all your mobile devices.

I am having difficulty with my N1T playing audio files stored on my QNAP TS-131
The N1T is pointed at Plex Media Server running on the QNAP.
Plex Media Server is showing in Soundstream with the following folders: "video", "music" "photos"
When I choose the "music" folder there are no audio files to play, the folder is empty.
However when I go into the QNAP and open the Plex server app all my music files are in the music folder. I can play music from the Plex web GUI.
What might be causing this issue?

Esoteric does not support Plex, but Lumin hardware does.

For Esoteric playback from QNAP, please install the free MinimServer to QNAP. In Esoteric or Lumin app, select the library to be MinimServer.

Thanks for allowing me into the group. As a new Lumin/Tidal user, I have a lot of questions.

In the Setup page, there is a setting for "Select a Music Library." I don't know how that field got populated, but it looks like what is there is the email address associated with the PC that I use as my desktop.

Can someone share the purpose of "Selecting a Music Library;" tell what that means, and why it is important? I don't think I have a "music library." I have no CD's, no music server, no music hard drive, USB drive or anything else. I only stream music with Tidal. Is it necessary to have this field filled in? Something tells me it is important, maybe critical, but I really don't know.

Many thanks Lumin Nation!

Music Library means a local UPnP music server (running on a computer or NAS) or USB drive to host local music files - which you may have purchased or downloaded.

If you only stream Tidal, please ignore the music library section. If your Lumin model supports Tidal Connect, then simply use Tidal app instead of Lumin app.
