Up until a day or two ago, the Lumin App was opening fine on my Mac. Now it does not open and I get a message from Apple showing a crash report and saying "Lumin quit unexpectedly."

I have the latest Lumin App 9.0.0. My version of Mac software is Mac OS Sonoma version 14.0.

The Lumin App continues to open and work fine on my iPad.

Can you help? Thanks.

We've submitted Lumin app 9.0.1 to App Store, should appear in 24 hours. Please try it on macOS 14.0.

Just a note that I've had a number of problems and bugs with other software, including Safari, since updating to Mac OS 14.0 Sonoma.

I'm having virtually no problems using the Lumin app on my iPhone with the current iOS.

I'll keep an eye out for Lumin app version 9.0.1

Thank you, Peter, for all your support.

Yes, it's fixed. Thanks. You/Lumin are the most responsive audio company I've ever dealt with!

I have stil trouble whit the new app, it uses long time before its ready and find my T2. and it shout down again when i try to play a song. Same on my Mac and iPhone. I have power down my router, and deleted my app on the Mac.

Never had that problem , but interested to hear what are you using when not using your Mac or Iphone ?

I think it is was a router/mesh problem i got it to work today by reset Mesh and Router, so hope it keep it that way.

And to FDPDK: jeg bruker bare Iphone og Mac, så jeg forklarte meg dårlig på Engelsk

What brand of mesh are you using? Many of them don't work out of the box, I'm surprised yours work at all.

Linksys is especially bad. Whenever I see a customer having a network issue with Linksys, the only solution is to replace it by something from a different brand.

Eero does not work with Lumin or Roon unless you set it to bridge mode.

Ok Peter, i use Asus xd6, before that (in manny ears whit Lumin D1 and T2 ) Jensen . No problem out of the box, but got issues after last upgrade.

I'm running into a problem with my Lumin L1. While connecting to to a Mac M1 with Sonoma, the L1 shows up on Locations but the red light is on continuously and I can't add any music files. any suggestions? Im interested in trying the L2 but I'm afraid I'll run into the same problems with it as well.

Red light staying on could be normal if you are connecting L1 to a computer USB port.

If your L1 has a >2TB drive, and it comes preformatted (as NTFS), or you have formatted it using the L1 built-in format as NTFS, that inaccessibility would be normal because NTFS is not supported by Mac.

You will need to either reformat it to exFAT, or purchase NTFS software for Mac. (In case you have a <=2TB drive in L1, format as FAT32 instead.)

The L1 worked fine on my prior Mac desktop. How do I tell what is the storage capacity and how I formatted it when purchased years ago?

Disconnect USB. Make the L1 network port is connected. Wait until its LED stabilizes. Lumin app - settings - About L1.

Im having a hard time getting information on user experiences with the Lumin L2. Are they available at this time? can the Lumin L1 be plugged into the L2 network port to serve as storage?

L2 does not support external storage, be it USB storage or L1.

For importing music into L1 / L2: L1 only supports USB file copy, while L2 supports network file system (which is preferred to USB copy).
