As the title states looking for some recommendations on LPS options
Right now looking for something to power my one FMC (Trendnet TFC-1000MGA 5V DC, 1A). All my networking stuff is in a rack in my laundry room (server, NAS, fiber switch which is AC powered etc..) and have a 80ft run fiber cable to listening room.
I'm using a SGC LPS for the mU and suppose I could get another one of those and am aware of the uptone stuff etc... I don't want any of the iFi PS's, their too noisy. Is it overkill for big expensive LPS just for a FMC? I honestly don't know and not sure how much impact a LPS will have on a FMC overall. I'm guessing the answer is it all matters.
Again just thinking there should be something relatively cost effective and looking at options. Part of me has a hard time seeing the logic in sinking $300 into powering one $50 FMC? Another SGC LPS is probably the way to go.
The one thing I haven't tackled is my NAS, router and modem - if that even matters in my config. If so, then a multi purpose/output would be desired than a bunch of separate LPS's
