Just curious if anyone has any opinions on these cartridges.
I understand the Benz lp-s is a little too heavy for some arms without upgrading the counterweight . I've heard the Titan and loved it. I've never heard an lp-s but people rave about them all over the place. And the Lps retails for $1000 less than the Titan i.
I have a dealer friend who deals in both says the he prefers the Titan but he's a little too far from me to go listen. I have another friend who has had a Titan and now runs the Benz . And prefers it.
Any opinions ?

The LP-S is much better but they are so hard to find !!
And warranty takes for ever .
What about Clearaudio Da Vinci ?

Yea I was thinking of putting the davinci in too because its right in between the cost wise.
There's also the dyna xv1s in that area too as well as the shelter harmony. Not to mention a few koetsu's as well . Lol
Too many to go hear them all.

I wanted the LP so bad for my AMG
but got tired of waiting
I will go for the Goldfinger, no mistake there

Ha!!! I could buy the davinci, Titan and lp-s for that kinda money.
Lol. Actually I'm not buying any of em . Just curious of people's opinion on them.

I have the LP-S and the Goldfinger Statement. Clearaudio Innovation Wood and AMG v12.

LP-S has been cartridge to beat. Open, transparent, natural, holographic etc

However on same arm, table, system, the Goldfinger Statement is profoundly better. Extension, detail, harmonics, wall of sound, etc.

Never thought anything would match let alone beat LP-S but Goldfinger fundamentally raised the bar.

So I have perfect LP-S with less than 50 hours on it if anyone wants to buy it. I would use proceeds to buy another Statement.
