i have used blackie pegano to repair and service my tube amp on two occasions. nothing but good things to report. professional, effective service. a straight-up and no nonsense guy... i would not use anyone else and i can think of no one esle in the audio industry i would recommend more highly.

he has a shop in manhattan and one in brooklyn as well. also, he is quite busy, so it makes sense to opt for the expidited service

I think he needs to update his brands repair page where he claims warranty service. Several of his brands are no longer in business, and I am the only authorized service for Blue Circle in North America.

Absolutely! A friend was asking and we were talking about it. It seems that there were more guys around in the past.

I mentioned I’d post a question and see what recommendations pop up. He has some older gear that I was thinking he should get looked at just to make sure.

I did use him once a long time ago. At the time, his shop was full of high end stuff. It tuned out to be a simple matter and he didn't charge me. I have no affiliation.
