I have a pair of Usher BE-718 monitors which I love - so much so that I sold off my Focal 1008's as I felt the Usher's outclassed them in every way. I have the opportunity to purchase some Violin's. Has anyone heard both of these speakers and if so can you describe the differences?

Thanks.

heard the Lawrence Violin's last year(not the newer SE model) briefly heard them, was a ok speaker (they are a cool looking speaker) have not heard the Usher's

what kind of gear do you have, that plays a HUGE role, having good clean power makes a Big difference!

I have several versatile amps including 300b push pull, 845 SET, 90wpc Quicksilver mono blocks with kt150's and an amazing solid state amp some of you likely will not have heard of designed by Kevin Halvorson, the Muse Two Hundred which frankly, at least to me, blows away my Pass Labs amps and preamp (Aleph 0 mono blocks, Aleph P and First Watt J2). So amplification is definitely not a problem :-))

Big fan of the Usher BE-718s (been a while since I heard them) but not familiar with the Lawrence speakers.
