Mike-

As an avid DIYer, really appreciate this review. Furutech makes some of the best constructed, easy to work with connectors and cable.
As I consider new power cabling, interest in the 4.1 series has been further piqued.

Your boat analogy is priceless! Makes your experiences clear, simple and right to the point... without baffling bull shit full of pseudo engineering terminology created by marketing departments.

Regards,

John

Thanks so much John. I'm a straight-speaking person in life, and I try and carry that over into my videos. When I start hearing "marketing speak" I know it turns me off and I just assume its the same for my viewers.

Mike, what was the total price and length of the cables you used? Did you buy assembled or get all the parts and DIY?

Hey Brian - I need to go back and check my receipt. I dealt with Scot at Elite A/V who was great to work with.

The I/C was 1.5 M and the speaker cables were quite long as that is what I need for my setup with the connections being at the top of my Klipsch La Scala's.

I was able to mix and match the connector with Scot for the sound I wanted, and I ordered a complete put together cable. I just don't have the time to put cables together myself as I am backed up on reviews I need to get out.

Reach out to Scot and if he can't help you (tell him I sent you) I'm sure he can put you in touch with who can.

Brian-

Chris VanHaus at vhaudio.com is an authorized dealer of Furutech. He has lots of bulk cable and connectors in stock. He's been very responsive to my emails as I hem and haw on a move to some 4.1 PC's.
