LAN or WAN when connecting to Lumin Streamer?

I've always connected the ethernet cable from the WAN port on the back of my router to my Lumin T2 streamer.

The WAN port has suddenly stopped working so I will now have to use one of the LAN ports.

I'm just wondering, does it make any difference if using WAN or LAN?

Thanks

AFAIK, if your LAN uses a standard RJ45 Ethernet port, it should work. Be advised though, that most "generic" routers have really cheap-*ss clocks and are also quite "dirty" devices, particularly if they are powered using an SMPS, so if you can connect a quality Ethernet switch e.g. EtherREGEN, between your router and your T2, it will very likely result in a notable improvement in audio quality. Just a suggestion.
