LampizatOr Launch Event at Suncoast Audio

Some questions

1) Any additional information on the LAN setup? Is it based on x86 or Arm product line? Does it pull the signal directly from the board via i2s or is it pulling data via USB? Assuming it is running Linux based OS to support Roon. I am hoping that it trickle downs to existing DAC's :D
2) Any cost mentioned on the 300b tubes? How did they sound compared to regular 300b or other tubes if changes were made?
3) The rotary switch that Lukasz mentioned for tube selection? Did he mentioned that tubes not labeled on the switch which are currently listed as supported in B7/GG still going to be supported? If yes, hopefully there would be some kind of document which says which settings to use for tubes not listed.
4) How did the DAC and amp sound?

Question for Mike. What are the diffuser used?

After spending several hours listening to the Pacific DAC in a system I know inside and out, I can honestly say, the Pacific is a world class DAC and so much better than my Big 7/GG with its balanced neutrality, superb midrange, bass and extended top end. There is so much more air and extension than my Big 7 or GG, it's hard to fathom it could get that much better, but it has.

A big thank you to Mike for hosting this wonderful event. Your shop is absolutely first class and really allowed our equipment to shine.

This was a stress free, very positive event and I believe everyone in attendance had a great time.

I am so glad you volunteered to host our launch!
