Good morning all.
There is a new product by lampizator it's called a headac.
???? It's simple. It's a b7 dac and a headphone amp In one box.
Now it's actually not a b7 dac as it now has an amp section. But having both the head dac and big7 it's sound is very much the same.
It has the new digital DSd 256 board inside. My present big 7 does not. I plan to do some side by side testing with both using the SAme tubes.
I Also want to hear DSd 256 as well.
The size is the same as the b7 and the front panel,is as well. I had some input to functions for this product at my request I added several features that are essential for headphone users. But rest assure it's also a stand alone dac too. It rolls many tubes like the big 7
but it adds a driver tube as well. For me it's VT99. Weather it's tungsol,or Rca. It's the best driver I have heard so far. And I use them in my woo Wes and wa5 amps and in my head dac . It just arrived yesterday. So it's not burnt in but it's been being used for months now by me and luk as it went back and forth from the USA to Poland several trips so far. After listening for about two hours last night and wow time flys fast in the lampi demention of sound. It's just so real and wholesome. The recti is a Sophia electric princess and the eml anniversary globes output. As for 45 eml ,s it's the best of the bunch and a great 45 tube period . Although 300 b,s. Have more body but this becomes a choice and system synergy.
I will post some pics later today. And if the admins here wish to create a lampi category for all threads lampi I very much would like that. And other dacs or devices that are hot and popular . Anyway more about the dac later. And please feel free to post any questions some may have. For me the hdmi is not installed as yet, but it is intended to do so. The hdmi will work with Jesus Sonor and PWT from Ps audio.
It's being fed from my reference server.
