KT150 tubes

I am thinking of upgrading my PrimaLuna HP power amp tubes and thinking about the KT150's. If you have experience with this tube, what are your thoughts?

Yes, yes, yes! I love my KT150's in my VAC Signature 200iq's. Like adding a V8 Hemi. Bigger, bolder, deeper!

I second Mike's thoughts. The KT-150s are like paying for a major upgrade in your system without the high cost. Contrasted to their specifications in terms of plate voltage and plate dissipation, the KT-150s are no more taxed in most amps than a weight lifter would be if you asked him to pick up bird feathers. The KT-150s are simply loafing along in the majority of amps that were really designed for 6550 or KT-88 tubes which bodes well for a long life.

He prefers the KT88's.

I do like the GL KT88's that he supplies stock now, but may have to check out the KT150's at some point.
