Mike, I am not surprised. A few days ago we were just talking on the phone and I made a comment that I love the VPI HRX but that the Kronos stands out. My bias opinion is that the VPI is beautiful but the Kronos visually is something you would see in a museum - it's just that beautiful.

Someday, I will own a Kronos.

..re: VPI and Kronus....who would give best support over the years of ownership, which one would be worth more in trade after a few years, etc.

I just now looked up the Kronos Sparta and wow - She is a beauty! How long did it take for you to set up the TT? What cartridge are you using with it?
 
David, I took two hours to set up mine, but I went very slow and methodically. I have the ZYX Universe Extreme cart. Either the Air Tight or the ZYX Universe II are also excellent.
 
Cool, we just sold our first Kronos in California :)
The lucky owner was going to get a 0.5, but ended up going for the "full thing" in the end! We just did the install, and it took roughly 2.5 hours, with cartridge install and everything.
He barely got his Sparta and he's already eyeing our Kronos Pro in the store :)
